Located in the heart of Zürich, Switzerland, we are looking for a full-time Embedded Software Engineer C/C++ for medical devices 80-100% to join and complete our team.

Embedded Software Engineer C/C++ for medical devices 80-100%

What you do:

Your role

  • Embedded software development for existing but also for new medical products and for production tools, by applying agile methodologies throughout the development process
  • Specification and implementation of reusable software components
  • Analyzing complex software architectures and prioritizing development tasks to maximize efficiency and output for existing and new codes
  • Software documentation for regulatory filing
  • Software verification and validation including test automation
  • Research and comparison of new software technologies
  • Collaboration with internal and external partners

What you offer:

Your profile
To effectively execute the role, we are looking for a hands-on, open-minded and pro-active team player with the following skills:

  • University degree in computer or technical science (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
  • At least 3 years of microcontroller programming experience in C/C++ (nice to have)
  • Solid knowledge of software design patterns and real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS)
  • Experience in Bluetooth Low Energy is a plus
  • Familiarity with medical technology or regulated environment (nice to have)
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
  • Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and project coordination
